Who We Are
kent design was established in january 1997 by alan kent capper BA (Hons) DipLA MLI
alan capper is a chartered landscape architect and worked in private practice before starting his own consultancy. where appropriate, he really likes the chance to do 'traditional with a twist' in his designs.
alan also writes articles on garden style for househunter, the north-east property magazine and is a prince’s trust young business mentor. he serves on the board of COCO, the children's charity.
originally from the south-east, alan has lived and worked in the north-east for almost 15 years and is proud to be a part of it's exciting and vibrant regeneration.
in his spare time alan likes scaring himself mountain biking and is learning the congas (slowly!)
