Detailed contemporary proposals for the walled garden as part of the restoration of the main house and its estate. Essentially a gravel garden with sculptural ‘crescent' low wall areas each ‘halo' lit at night and providing a setting for a variety of features and planting, combined with seating areas, a winding path and gentle stream. The stunning views over the Northumberland coast and the North Sea are exploited.
